My baby started drooling a lot recently. Various medical professionals said its normal around this age and unrelated to teething.

They rarely get teeth on top first. That doesn’t look like teeth to me BUT it doesn’t mean the drooling isn’t teething. Some babies teethe for months before teeth bust through, others only teethe for a few days before.
