I work as a registered nurse on a medical oncology floor. I work full time, 12 (more like 13) hr night shifts 3x a week. As of right now I’m suppose to work up until my due date, July 21st. I’m 35+2 today. I’m completely miserable at this point and my job is very demanding, physically and emotionally.

I’m debating seeing if I can start my maternity leave a little early (38 weeks). However, this is my first baby and I’m scared theres a chance I’ll go all the way to 41/42 weeks before I deliver which would take time away from being with him if I take my maternity leave early.

What should I do?😭 I’m so stressed out and exhausted
