Anyone on Zoloft?

Any mamas taking Zoloft during pregnancy I’m so scared to go on it now I’m 29 weeks Friday haven’t been on meds for four years but my anxiety and depression is hitting me! I’ve been prescribed it back in May and I’m so scared of what going on it will do to me and my baby I’m a ftm. I’m scared of side affects so please no negative comments!

16 weeks and have taken it the whole pregnancy. So far baby is doing good! The only thing my doctor mentioned is that the baby can have some withdraws after birth when the medicine isn’t in his system anymore, but I am only on 25mg daily, so I don’t think I will have much of an issue compared to those on a higher dose.

I recently resumed Celexa.  My depression is awful even without pregnancy! My M.D., and Pediatrician approved to help keep post partum to a minimum

I started back on Zoloft at about 30 weeks. I’m almost 37 now. I was on different pills but I couldnt take them being pregnant. Zoloft has helped ALOT. It doesn’t make me feel like a zombie and it actually makes me feel like a normal person.

I started Zoloft during my 2nd trimester my last pregnancy and I've been on it this whole pregnancy 20 weeks now. 150mg

I was in the same boat with my last pregnancy. I didn’t want to take it until he was born, even though I had my doctor, my husband, and my mom practically begging me too. I had never been on meds before, so I didn’t know how well it would work. I was astonished by what a difference it made once I started taking them. With this pregnancy, I considered going off of it (because of the possible withdrawal for baby) and even started lowering my dose. Wasn’t good. In my case, it’s something I need to be taking. My anxiety levels are through the roof without it.

I am on Zoloft now for my anxiety and it has been a life saver! I got it prescribed back in May when I was pregnant with my son, but like you was scared so I didn’t take it and just got it prescribed again in March. I am pregnant again and let me tell you my anxiety is at bay. I haven’t noticed any side effects since taking it and I take it at night! Do whatever makes you feel comfortable
