How to fix anaemia?

Has anyone had anaemia around 33 weeks and have gotten it up fairly quickly? My midwife said something about me being a 9 point something, when over 11 is recommended. But I'm not sure what that means.

I don't eat meat, and I'm not sure if eating it now will help significantly. Even if I was to consume some meat it would have to be very little, as I haven't had it in years I wouldn't want to be sick or have digestive issues.

I'm about to start taking iron supplements and I'm drastically increasing my iron levels in my daily diet. With foods such as pumpkin seeds, broccoli, spinach, legumes, tofu. As well as vitamin C, and cutting out high calcium foods.

I'm just worried because my midwife wants me to deliver at the hospital if my levels stay so low.
