I have my genetic counseling appointment today. What can I expect? They said I would talk to a genetic counselor and get an ultrasound done. This is my third baby and with my other 2, I didn’t need to see a genetic counselor, I just got a NIPT test and they did an in depth ultrasound at my first appointment. This time around I have kaiser and they just did one ultrasound to make sure there was a baby, they didn’t even do any other measuring like they did with my others.
