Double infection

My 2 year old boy has strep and fluid coming out through his ear (he got his tubes in feb). His ear is in so much pain that he can’t even let anything touch it. He cries when I take his shirt off and he can’t sleep on it.

So I took him to the doctor they prescribed ear drops and amoxicillin.

We’ve been up alllllll night. His ear is so clogged with fluid and he’s running a fever still.

I’m worried that his ear drops aren’t even making in through his ear.

Any mommas go through this?

What do I do ?

***my mommy instinct tells me to take him to the ER but I have a feeling that they’ll say to wait for the medicine to kick in and not do anything for him.
