Is bio oil worth it?

Has anyone used bio oil for stretch marks on the belly and acne scars on the face? 
Is it worth it? 
It’s kind of expensive so I want to know if anyone has experience with it before I purchase

I didn’t like how many chemicals were in their formula so I began using Earth mama’s belly rub which worked really well for me.

I got the small bottle to test it out first to see if I like it. I think its great but you really need to remember to apply morning and night everyday

Ive been using bio oil since the 2nd trimester, twice a day, massaging for 5-10 minutes. I am 39 weeks and I haven’t got a single stretch mark yet. My mom got plenty during our pregnancies so I assume that bio oil was one of the main factors i didn’t get any so far.

I am using it now along with coconut oil and Burt’s bees belly butter. I alternate depending on my mood. It is smooth and has a light floral smell. I know stretch marks are genetic but hopefully something helps prevent or lessen the effect! Sometimes I put a little in my bath water and rub it on skin that way.

I like it for under eye, and acne scars, and it makes smooth soft skin...I also like it on my fingers and nail bed.

I used it for one of my pregnancies out of my 3 and it didn’t seem like it did anything for me personally.  I do see coconut oil being used a lot lately though

I used it religiously through my entire pregnancy and never got even one stretch mark. My mom and sister both got horrible stretch marks during their pregnancy. So i know it was the bio oil that saved me. Ive never used it on existing marks or scars though.
