Bleeding after HSG- how long?

I had an HSG done last Friday (6 days ago), and I’ve been bleeding irregularly since then, today with good sized clots. How long have others bled after an HSG? I’m worried because the physician had to try a few times, and she had a hard time sliding whatever instrument it was past my internal csection scar. Hurt like hell.

Me too!! I had mine done on Thursday and have just started a period?? Very strange, first time having an HSG done and the doctor took a few attempts too and it was so painful, she said I have a small cervix so it was tricky for her to get the catheter in. Wondering why the sudden bleeding, it was light pink the day of but now it’s a red/brownish colour? Not sure what’s normal?
