So I'm new to the whole sex thing. Me and my boyfriend recently did it for the first time together. It was my very first time ever. And we talked about it afterwards that we should have used lube. But I'm new to this so how exactly do you use lube?

We use coconut oil and I just put I little on my hand and then like, use my hand on him, to put it delicately. It being solid at first makes it easy to get out without making a mess but body heat turns it liquid so it works really well. 
I’m on the pill tho and we’ve been together for 2 years so we aren’t using condoms. If you use condoms, which you should, then you might need to use something water based. I don’t think coconut oil plays well with condoms but idk.

I agree with everyone and their comments. 
I don’t recommend using those “heating/cooling” lubes. In my personal experience, they hurt and stung quite a bit. Just feels really uncomfortable. Unless you’re interested in trying that, go for it.
