I started sprintec by in January and took it for 3 cycles due to mid cycle bleeding and I’m talking full blown period like bleeding twice per month. The sprintec helped with that. While on sprintec each cycle was 28days with no mid cycle bleeding. My first cycle w/o sprintec was 26 days, the 2nd was 27 days w/o mid cycle bleeding. This is my 3rd cycle off sprintec. And I started having brown spotting yesterday morning, I’m still spotting but it’s dark red. It hasn’t gotten heavier. Also I usually have horrible PMs from mid cycle to the end of my period. This month, nothing except the spotting, very mild cramping and very mild lower back ache. I saw my OB yesterday. She said I definitely ovulated this month and didn’t say anything about the spotting. Any thoughts on this sudden change? I’ve baby danced every day this month. Even during my fertile time.
