Bathing?

Question

I've been noticing lot of dust/dirt on my cat. When i pet her i can just feel it on my hands.  Ive never gave her a bath or would i really want too.  I've gave cats baths before, it wasnt fun.  
Any tips on cloth baths?  Should i just use water? Or should i not worry about it? Tips plz?! Heres a picture of her. Coco bean.

My cat gets dusty and gritty sometimes too, I usually use a damp paper towel and use it whilst stoking her, it seems to do the job.

Unless she’s a much older cat (I have an 18 year old girl), the lack of self
Maintenance might be indicative of a bigger problem- I would see a vet.

I put my cat in the tub and bathe her since it helps loosen some of her shedding hair and it's good for their skin because it helps get the dry skin off of her. She doesnt enjoy it but she comes out of the bath smelling better, her fur is softer, shes not as itchy, and she doesnt shed that bad. I also only bathe her once a month

Maybe put her in a pillow case like a burrito and try to bath her that way. They do sell dry shampoos for cats but i dont think it will get thw dust etc out like with water and soap.

I have three cats but i got them use to being bathed since they were kittens so they just sit there.
