Eggs not responding well

Hey guys! This is my 1st IVF cycle and when I went in on CD2 fo an ultrasound before I start my protocol I had 11 follicles on my left and 5 on my right. They put me on 550 units of Gonal F for 3 days then I went back in today (Stims day 4) and they said I had 4 on my right that were a good size and 7 on my left that were not quite as big as they’d like. So they’re keeping me on this high dose of Gonal F (550 units) for another 3 days. Has this ever happened to any of you? Is this bad?
