I started my insulin injections last night for my fasting numbers, and woke up this morning to numbers as high as they’ve always been. Actually, 3 points higher than they’ve been in the last 3 days. Is this not supposed to work right away? I know it’s a slow acting insulin, but I still thought it was supposed to change my fasting numbers through the night. I’m just worried I didn’t do something right or my body isn’t going to respond to the insulin like it should.
