How long did your cramps last?

I got the Kyleena IUD in mid January. I’ve had cramps on and off and one light period. Over the past two weeks, I’ve had super intense cramps, worse than normal period cramps and they make me want to throw up. Will these go away? I have my yearly exam on July 16 but I don’t know if I should wait that long?
