It’s 50 states in America and all of them have county’s! And the only state with parishes is Louisiana?

Why is Louisiana the only state stuck in the damn 17th century?

Do y’all think Louisiana is so far behind all others states because we’re stuck in old times?

What’s the difference between parishes and county’s?

Do you think Louisiana could grow as a state of we update the systems here?

I believe we here in Louisiana can’t go anywhere because it’s like we’re living in the 1800 here everything is backwards the justice system is the absolute worse here I wouldn’t recommend anyone moving to Louisiana! Job opportunities are non existent. Half of the money we pay in taxes goes to private things we don’t even need. The roads here are so different and out of whack it’s unsafe! I think Louisiana needs to sink w Texas because it’s no hope for Louisiana to me I’ve been here 27 years and nothing in changing actually its only getting worse.
