My water broke and I didn’t know

My water broke last friday at 6am...i didn’t know because i didn’t have the famous GUSH. I even thought that I peed my self, just a little

I called my hospital and they told me to wait and see if I soak a pad but that never happened. So i wait it out with small contractions. That night I couldn’t sleep. So next day in the morning I was so tired so I called again and they said to wait or I can go to another hospital in another city because they were busy. So I lied to my husband and told him that Kaiser Permanente from our city told me it was okay to go and get check in another city because my contractions were closer and longer enough ( I just wanted go and see if they can take me🥴) so there we go at 8 am, Saturday 15th

We got there and my contractions were 3-5 minutes ( and it was probably the bumpy ride on our way to the hospital) and then they check I was only a 2cm 😑 and then the midwife confirmed that my water indeed was broken cuz I told her what happened the day before so because it been a long period of time she induced with pitocin and I got my epidural at 4cm

By 8pm I was a 10cm and for my luck my epidural didn’t work at the end when it was time to push

For me the hardest was pushing I felt like giving up😪😅 but here he is! Two day before my 40 weeks!
