When did you pack your hospital bag? and what did you pack?

lol I packed the night before I was induced... I'm a procrastinator 🙄

I started packing once I hit 36 Weeks. 
I packed 
- nursing bra
- tank top
- underwear 
- loose pants 
- socks
- slip on shoes
- shampoo/body wash/ toothbrush/ toothpaste 
- CHAPSTICK!

I started mine around 30 weeks and gradually added to it the closer we got to the end… Something I always recommend is bringing a variety bag of different candies, chocolates and fruity candies… That way when you are being checked on your nurses and doctors they can have a sweet treat and it can boost their mood and make their day. It also got my nurse to run and get me a cheeseburger and milkshake in the middle of the night for me 😂

I packed about 2 weeks before my due date. I packed very little and ended up staying 3 nights because our daughter had jaundice. I will definitely be packing more this time around! My own robe, slippers, comfy clothes, travel bottles of shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, chargers for phone and tablet, lots of snacks (because breastfeeding makes you starving and you can’t get anything once the kitchen closes), a first outfit for baby (I brought 3 different size onesies since I didn’t know what size she would be), my own pillow and blanket, and my partner will probably bring his Nintendo Switch with him this time so he has something to do if we end up having to stay a few nights again. We were so bored being stuck there with nothing but the little tv in our room for entertainment.

Well I have to because of low amniotic fluids so 36 weeks. I could be induced at any appointment from here on out. She said she wouldn’t let me go home and to have my bag with me at every appointment I go to. If I wasn’t having this issue though it’d be probably when I started having contractions 😂 I always do things last minute

I started packing after the baby shower and I put literally everything in it :) Whenever i saw a list, i added things. I loved having it, even though I didnt need it. That said, mostly I just used my pillow, charger, extension cord, chapstick, socks, and sweatpants.

I overpacked for my first lol. What I really ended up using was comfy pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, comb, shampoo, conditioner, and my cell phone charger. I had c-sections so I spent 4 nights there. The hospital had pretty much everything else I needed (mesh underwear, slippers, breast pumps/ supplies, tons of snacks). 
And a going home outfit for the baby ❤️
