Contractions? Help!

Question

I’m a ftm and I’m not sure what early labor feels like. I can’t tell if I’m having mild contractions or gas pains/cramps. Is that what Braxton-Hicks feel like?

I’ve been told that once it’s real labor you will KNOW. Sometimes early labor can go unnoticed, but if they start getting more intense and regular, that’s when you know. Especially if you’ve had some of the other symptoms along with it like water breaking or losing mucus plug and/or bloody show.
Good luck! I’m having a million braxton Hicks all day these days (no pain just tightening in the abdomen) but can’t help hoping every time that’s it’s gonna turn into the real thing!

HICKS true labor pains dont stop regardless sometimes B.hicks can occur very strong like menstruals but usually stop I've had false labor before and I thought it was b hicks and I couldn't roll over sit up anything it hurt so bad all I could do was cry and i had to go to ER and they gave me a shot to stop them I'm a Ftm @38 w+3d but if it concerns you let your dr know what is goin on that would be your best choice

Drink water or get up and walk it off- if it’s BH it should subside. You’ll KNOW when it’s the real deal.

I having the same thing for 2 weeks now, this week its been everyday and getting pretty bad. I keep feeling like I have to poop or its diarrhea but when I go its nothing or just a little and hard to get out. The cramps are horrible.
