Been to L&D - in pain and frustrated

Might be a bit longer of a rant. But I figured this was the best place to vent.

Yesterday I went to L&D because of pains I was having. It turns out I was having real contractions but not feeling them all while hooked to their monitors.

They checked me and I was at 3/4 cm’s. They asked me to walk around for a couple hours to see if I made any progress. - I did. I went to a 4/5.

But they didn’t want to keep me since it was busy and my contractions weren’t very strong.

However, my contractions are horribly strong. But mainly at night. When I am laying in bed trying to sleep. They are 5 minutes apart, 45-60’seconds long and last all night..

The moment I get up they die down again. I even tried taking a nap a couple hours ago, and again they jump into being 5 mins apart and 60’seconds long..

L&D doesnt want me to go back until all my contractions are in sync with my night time ones.. I just feel so hopeless right now..

I can’t rest, because the moment I do I’m in excruciating pain, I can’t stay up because I’m exhausted and it is stumping my progress..

I feel like I’m sitting here in pain for nothing.. 😭😭

I’m so sorry for the long rant. I just feel so stuck right now.
