What to eat the day before induction?

I know there’s a high chance you’ll poop during labor so what should I eat the day before and for breakfast that morning?

Eat very filling things. I was in labour for 20 hours with my first and couldn’t eat. I was so low on energy and so hungry after it was awful

Eat whatever you want, I went out to lunch and had everything I loved, totally stuffed myself, and then went in for my induction. While I was only there for about 20 hours from being admitted to having baby, the hospital food was not good, once things got going they would only allow ice chips, and I did not poop while in labor. This was for my first.

I went out to dinner the night before and had a bagel that morning. Ended up throwing up the bagel near the end bc I was in so much pain but never pooped even when pushing for 2 hours lol. Ended up having a c section and couldn’t eat for like 5 hours after until I begged them for something and all I got was jello and graham crackers.

I didn't eat breakfast before I was induced (surprise induction). I was in active labor for 33 hours before they did a C-section, so a total of 55 hours without food before having my C-section. Then they didn't want me to eat right after until I could keep fluids down...so probably another 12 hours. I'd say eat high protein foods and whole grains. I surprisingly wasn't hungry through the whole thing and it took a while for my appetite to come back. But the days leading up to delivery I had been eating mostly protein and whole grains and veggies.
