So confused!!!

I’m 9dpo and 4 days away from my next period... I just went to the bathroom and noticed A LOT of egg white CM... I thought you only get that when you are fertile? Or is it a fluctuation in hormones? Someone explain this to me lol and yes I have confirmed ovulation this month.
