Why is it so painful to poop?!?

Due Tuesday and the pressure I'm feeling is so intense it seriously hurts to poop.

Am not constipated but I feel discomfort pooing. Especially since I have early contractions. I have to do it because the contractions feel more painful if I feel like pooing. Which is now common. Even peeing is uncomfortable. It is like my body wants nothing inside me anymore.
