Just a little word of advice: dont just assume your pattern drafting skills are perfect enough to use the fabric you intended the pattern for, on your first mock up. 🤦‍♀️

I'm sure most of yall already knew this, but I can be a bit dense at times.. so if anything, I need to heed my own advice.

The shorts are too long, and the torso part is too short, so the waistband sits about 2 inches above my belly button😭 which isn't a very flattering style for someone who's 5ft tall and naturally already has a short torso.

I'm hoping a long statement belt that ties and drapes down will disguise the awkwardness. If not, I'll still be wearing these and demanding I be called an oompa loompa.
