Will I have baby early?

I’m currently 35w6d, I went into labor with my first at 37 weeks. I know it’s just a guessing game at this point but does this mean I have higher chances of going into labor with this baby in a week? I really hope not bc my house is nowhere near ready (thanks husband for thinking pregnancies are 18 months and that we have all the time in the world 🙄🤦‍♀️)

No each pregnancy is different it does not increase your chances of having another early baby

Higher for you than someone who had a full term pregnancy or who is pregnant for the first time and low risk. But, that doesn't mean it's a guarantee by any means. Also, there's some link with sex of both babies, and the reasons for your early labor vs. health/etc conditions now plays a role too.

Yes, actually, they say you’re likely to have your second baby around the same gestation as you had your first. 
So not that baby will come earlier than your first but that if your first was early, you’re more likely to have your second early as well. Same if you have Baby late. Or at term. :)

My doctor seems to think if you’ve previously had a baby early spontaneously then the chances of it happening again are high. I had my first son at 37 weeks, he came all on his own and I’m currently 35 weeks and already 2cm dilated and having contractions daily. Doctor said she thinks he will come around the same time as my first. I wish there was a clear cut answer but I would say definitely get yourself as prepared & ready as you can because it very well could happen! Good luck mama!

I had my son at 37 weeks and my daughter at 36 weeks? So maybe? Most likely not but labor with my daughter was definitely faster!

Sorry that I can't totally answer but my doc says it's more likely to happen when you have multiple premature births... My first was at 34 weeks and my second at 2 days before the 36 week mark but babies just kinda do what they want.
