I'm not in Cambridgeshire,  but I'd really recommend connecting with the NCT branch in your area. Their mum and baby coffee mornings etc were a lifesaver for me when I had my son as I didn’t have any friends or family nearby.  Nearly three years on I still regularly see several people I met through their groups. Also, ask your midwife if there are any groups for young mums in your area as I know many areas have them. Oh, and get the app Mush - it's a great way to meet other mums in your area.
