On Friday morning I made a trip to labor and delivery at 29 weeks 2 days as I wasn’t feeling baby girl. Everything is good, she has been active since the visit, however while they were monitoring me, I was having pretty consistent contractions, nothing major, it just felt like pressure. Which now that I know what the pressure feeling is, I had been having it randomly for a few days prior to the L&D visit. I was sent home and told to not do anything over the weekend, it’s been a long weekend already of sitting around doing nothing. But while I was at L&D they checked my cervix and said it was closed but low. I’m not quite sure what that means. Is having a low cervix a good or bad things? Can it lead to other issues? I have my 30 week appointment on Thursday, where I’m sure they will recheck everything to make sure baby girl is doing well. Oh and while in L&D they did an ultrasound and we got to see baby girl again, they also did some kind of test and she got an 8 out of 8. Today I’m 29 weeks and 4 days, oh how the time is flying by.
