I am absolutely in love with this name... but when I tell others, I get a weird look. I don’t think many people like it. 
Last name is pronounced as “Ray”. Although the spelling is quite different.

I think it’s cute! If you love it, please don’t worry about what anyone thinks! Once it is the baby’s name, nobody will even give a second thought to it. I decided on Emerson for my daughter who is now one. At first I was hesitant because I got a lot of backlash on here regarding it being a boys name and how I spelled it. Most thought I should spell it Emersyn for a girl. Regardless I went with what I felt was right and have gotten nothing but compliments from anyone we tell in person! I think it’s different when it’s actually their name and if other people don’t like it, that’s their problem, not yours! Follow your heart, momma!! ❤️

My brothers friend was named Holden and he was a great guy. He was like a big brother to me and still close with the family. If you like the name Holden, go for it :)
