My last name of keep his ??

Sooo my daughter is almost 3 months old and her father and I recently broke up bc he hasn’t stepped up and done much for her or us..my pregnancy was rough too as far as our relationship went bc he didn’t wanna keep his promises of getting shit ready for her arrival. I gave our daughter his last name without much thought now I really regret it. He barely even sees her !!!! 
Do I keep his last name, change it and give her mine or hyphenate it and give her both?? I don’t know what to do

Well if you do you better do it soon because I believe you can do it free up until 12 months and then it’s a hassle..

Well she’s a girl, so in the future if she gets married it may change anyways. I say skip the hassle and keep it as it is. Also, I think you would need him to sign off on changing it anyways. My older brother wanted to change his from our father last name to our mothers maiden and our father wouldn’t sign off on it so he had to wait until he was 18 to do it himself.
