I am 34 weeks (as of tomorrow) I was diagnosed with GD around 28 weeks. They wanted to start me on glyburide twice daily but my insurance wouldn’t pay for it until I tried metformin first. So they’ve been adjusting my dose cause it kills my stomach. I’m also a correctional nurse so I can’t get to the bathroom very fast when it hits me.

Anyways, it’s not working so I’m assuming they will put me on insulin at my appointment this week. My question is, I’m losing weight and now I’m worried about the baby. She wanted me to gain about a pound a week but instead I’m losing. Is that normal?
