Do you eat tomatoes with mayo?

I just saw a lady post this on a vegetarian group as a side. Straight up tomato slices with mayo on them like frosting. I have never seen anyone do this! Is it a thing or is this lady odd?

I live on tomatoes with mayo like this. My grandmother always had some when I came over for dinner... I am counting down the days till I have tomatoes from my garden and I can put mayo on them... it is HEAVEN!

Southerner here and I love sliced tomatoes with mayo on top and a little salt and pepper.   Back when we grew our own tomatoes, we'd eat tomatoes sandwiches all the time.

Tomatoes with mayo are awesome! But, nowhere near that amount of mayo yuck! Just a small spread. Try crackers with a slice of cheese, slice of tomato mayo and pepper

My dad does tomatoes with miracle whip. And I think he'll use mayo if mw isn't available. Usually he also salts and peppers them. I've had it, but prefer just a salted tomato slice. I've never liked adding unnecessary fat to things if I can help it.
