acupuncture to bring on labour; has anyone tried it?

currently 40w+1 and considering making an appointment for some acupuncture, but i’ve never had it done before!
has anyone had it done during their pregnancy?
any success stories for it bringing on labour?? i’m getting desperate now! 😫🥵

I’m not to that point yet... but my acupuncturist made it clear to do true induction acupuncture requires a Dr note saying it’s ok for her to do it (as a requirement for her acupuncture liability insurance)....
Then she said induction acupuncture is done daily. Based on these responses, I’d be curious the process they’re getting and maybe that’s why it hasn’t been successful 🤷🏻‍♀️
There are acupuncture points that help “prep” the body for labor and I’m getting those (still pregnant, DD 6/26). Might be worth figuring out the distinction between the two.

Yep, had it last week and didn’t work for me either 😫 I’m now 41 weeks tomorrow 🤦🏼‍♀️
