So I’m going to an obg this Friday, but when I scheduled The appt 2 weeks ago I didn’t realize that I’d be on my period when the appointment is scheduled. Is it true (because I’ve heard different things) that you can still go to your appointment while on your period? It should I just reschedule?

I’m going because during an anual exam with my pcp she found a polyp/red spot on my cervix that she wants further looked at.
