long distance relationship

my boyfriend and i are going to different colleges (incoming freshmen) in august and are most likely going to keep it long distance. we are approaching 6 months of dating and we are so in love with each other. i know it’s such a short amount of time to be dating but we have never had any problems and are very upfront and forward with each other. he’s literally perfect and i can’t see myself with anyone else. i’ve never felt this way before, not even in previous relationships. i really want this to work out. our schools are an hour and a half away from each other so visiting is fairly easy as long as we have time and a means of transportation. does anyone have a story about a similar relationship? any advice? anything will help. i know people will try and comment things about getting a reality check but you don’t truly know our situation.
