Which breast pump?

Calling all STMs! 32+4, i’m starting to finalize my list of baby items to purchase, make sure i have everything we need for when he gets here (can’t wait! ❤️) and i realized i have no idea which breast pump would be most recommended. What has been your experience with breast pumps and which ones would you theoretically recommend to a FTM? I LOVE the idea of using the haakaa during feedings, and plan to get that one for sure, but i’m wondering if it would be recommended to also get either a manual or electric pump, to be able to have a stash, for when we want daddy to do a feed here and there and have some quality meal time bonding with our baby boy. I do plan to EBF for as long as i will be able to. And I’m also aware that using a pump in addition to feedings might impact my supply in unintentional ways. So i’m trying to be cautious and get all the info from you ladies ahead of time.
If you found the manual/electric pump useful, which model would you recommend?

Make sure if go electric it's a closed system. I am ordering the spectra s2 because its hospital grade and supposedly very quiet. You'll want double pump option as well.

I loved my spectra s1. Since I’m getting another pump this pregnancy I plan on getting a second spectra. Super quiet and I reacted well to it.

I liked the Medela PISA, and it was free through my insurance. I breastfed for 14 months and it lasted well (although I nursed 95% of the time and only pumped occasionally) 
I will say, I wouldn’t pump the first 4-6 weeks while your supply is regulating or you might cause an over supply which would just lead to discomfort for you from being engorged. 
The haaka is nice until baby tries to kick it off and it spills all over you 🤪 but that normally won’t happen for a few months lol. You’ll want to look up a “tips and tricks” type video for the haaka to get the best use out of it.

So it’s really how your body reacts and you might have to try a few things. I know a few moms that produced much better with a manual. They are cheap so I would get one, then get the electric through insurance. You’ll find your personal groove after a bit! I also liked having the manual one to just throw in my bag if I was going out for a date night or something.
