Help! Early ovulation?

Girls I need some advice! We are doing timed intercourse with Letrozole this cycle and I am supposed to go Thursday for a cycle day 12 scan so they can see jf I’m ready to trigger and I just took an opk that if it isn’t positive, probably will be by this afternoon. What do I do? Call the drs office and see what the nurse says? Or just have sex tonight just in case and then wait for Thursday to see what they say? I’ve never ovulated this early before and I know letrozole can make you ovulate early so I’m conflicted!

I know this is late, but if anyone is searching for related info. I went thru this and my doctor told me that she’d rather me use digital OPKs with the smiling face because it’s harder to error on reading them. If you’re questioning a test strip maybe try and digital and call your doctor if it’s flashing or solid smile. Testing with OPKs within 72-84 hours (depending on how high your dose was) of taking letrozole will also mess with the reading.

I actually waited until I did the ultrasound on day 12 and I hadn’t ovulated... I just had 2 huge follicles and the pain I had was them growing! So I was able to Trigger that night.

Definitely call the nurse. I got a ton of almost positives this cycle on letrozole around cd12 and didnt actually end up getting a true positive until cd 18
