Is your baby grasping?

My LO is 11weeks today and I’m worried that she’s not grabbing/reaching yet. Not even her comforter...and she doesn’t even seem interested in grasping as much as I try to encourage her. Should I be worried?

My baby doesn’t reach for toys or things yet either (9w). She grabs my necklace and my hair when I hold her but not toys or other things. In a few weeks they’ll all be reaching and grabbing for anything and everything 🤣

Reaching for toys usually doesn’t occur until 3-5 months. Wouldn’t be worried at all.

Were at 10 weeks and we just bought her a rattle at 9 weeks and just started putting it into her hand to see what she would do. She just found her hands right at 9 weeks so she’s still getting used to them but the rattle seems to help! She knows that it’s her making noise and holding it, took her a few days to get the hang of grabbing it but it’s been a week and she now will grab right on and bring it to her mouth to chew on! I’d just try getting something shiny or bright colored that makes noise and see what happens!
