Stomach sleeper?

Anyone else have a baby that sleeps on his/her tummy? I put my little guy down on his back, but he rolls himself over to his tummy almost immediately every time. I’ve tried flipping him back over on to his back, but he just rolls himself back to his tummy again.

Mine is the same. It was weird to me because started rolling over in her sleep before she ever did it while awake. Made me uneasy lol.

Yes. I’ve had a couple belly sleepers. Once they can roll themselves, it’s pretty impossible to stop them. Jus make sure there’s nothing in the crib or around where baby is sleeping for them to get caught in or roll into.

I lay my little guy down on his belly and he will put himself to sleep - day or night 😴 🥰 but he sleeps mostly on his back at night. Belly for naps. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mines a tummy sleeper. But only during the day at night she sleeps on her back. Hasn’t started rolling over yet.

My LO likes to fall asleep on her side but then she sleeps both back and side throughout the night. She just rolled over back to tummy for the first time yesterday though, so we’ll see if she starts to do that at night!

Mine did last night. Hes been fighting the crib transition and also gets gassy at night. After 30 min of little cry bursts and kicking all around last night, I saw him trying to roll over onto his belly, which he can. I helped him and then he was asleep instantly till about 3am, a 6 hour stretch! this never happened before! His brother was also a belly sleeper starting around 4 months.

I put mine down on his tummy.. I’m aware that it’s against best practice but he slept like that from 6 weeks.. sleep so much better and has terrific head control so I’m not worried.
