Did you stay close with your primary/high school friends when you got older?

I found that I kept 3 or 4 of my best friends very close, but the others I don’t see as often, and some I haven’t seen in years.

I met my husband in high school,  so I've kept him 😅 But not really anyone else,  and I'm okay with that.

I have most of them on Facebook and were all still good friends but we all went different ways. So many are in different states and some in different countries. Once in awhile we do get together for dinner or something but I love in a different state. One friend lives 3 hours from me so once Every few years we get together

Im still best friends with my bff from middle school, even tho we didnt go to the same high school. We're going on 12 years of friendship. I don't really talk to any of my friends from High school. We grew apart, and eventually the only thing we had in common was the past. So we'll catch up maybe once a year and that's all we need. I guess it doesn't help I don't have a Facebook

I live with my high school friend and my best friend from daycare/elementary school is visiting next month. I wouldn’t say I’m as close with my friends anymore from being a kid though. Everybody’s lives were and are changing a lot. After high school some of us went to college, others in military, some got married etc. But you can make friendship work if you both want it to
