At How Many Weeks Will you install your car seat base?

I’m 30 weeks today-🙌🏼- and was wondering at how many weeks people typically install their car seat base? I was thinking maybe around 35 weeks?

As soon as a vacuum all the dog hair and out of the car 🤣 probably somewhere between 32-35 weeks

I have to rearrange other car seats and move someone to the 3rd row so I’ll probably wait till 38 weeks? Or till after he’s born and just use the seatbelt to secure it for the ride home 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3rd child problems lol

I've never used a base, but if I did I would have my hubbu install it when I went into labor cause I'm a procrastinator. 😭😂

I will be doing it around 34 weeks just incase history repeats itself, i had my LO at 34+4 and fortunately for us i installed the carseat the weekend before i gave birth so perfect timing.

With my first I did it at 38 weeks and 5 days.. while I was alone and in active labor 😂 that was very unpleasant. So with my second I want to say I did it around 36-37 weeks. I’ll do the same this time around hopefully 😅

With my first we did it at like 34w and now with my second I did it back at 28w cause it got it out of the closet 😂

Not until the day she comes home. Not sure which car it’ll end up being in so

Don’t do it too early. If the car is in an accident the car seat is “technically” supposed to be replaced. Most of the time insurance will cover it, but still a PITA.

I did it around 25 weeks but it was because DH and I are in a small 1 bedroom apt, until a bigger one opens up, so it just made a bit more room in the apt. 😂
