Ovulation strips detect pregnancy?

Question

Wondering if there is any truth to ovulation tests detecting pregnancy or experiences you ladies have had that with a positive LH test after ovulation that lead to a positive pregnancy test ? 
I am 9 dpo and have experienced a mild pink tint in my daily CM checks since 6dpo..  today I took an ovulation strip just for laughs.. but it was positive.
What is your experience with this ?!

You can have multiple surges throughout your cycle. There will always be a faint line on an ovulation test.
You cannot use an ovulation test to detect pregnancy.

With my two pregnancies i used ovulation test the day i missed my period and they gave me a super strong positive,  like the one here in this pic. This pic is from my first pregnancy and then i went and got a pregnancy test and it was positive.  So yea i think 100% that they can detect pregnancy hormones .

A lot of women have LH surges before they get their AF. So your OPK could just be picking up a normal surge.
However, it’s possible for OPKs to detect pregnancy because LH and HCG are very similar molecularly. But with that being said if you’re pregnant and the OPK is picking it up than you would get a positive HCG test too. 
Have you taken any HCG tests?

If you take a preg test, it WILL be positive. You can have high LH before AF. So just take a pregancy test
