Am i small for having twins?

So my mom doesn't know yet that im having twins and she keeps telling me im small for being pregnant with "one" baby. I went to my doctor's appointment and they said i've only gained 10 pounds and this is my third pregnancy so they want me to gain about 40 pounds at least 😳😳😳 I'm currently 20 weeks and i eat regularly. So am i small for having twins?

I’m not sure but I think you look fine - most people didn’t even know I was pregnant until 18 weeks or after. I got comments from people about being too big or too small too, but I don’t think that’s something you really need to worry about. Most of your weight gain will happen from now on. I’m pretty small normally but I did gain 40 pounds by the end.

I am 20 weeks today and have gained 10 pounds. I have gestational diabetes so I am on a controlled diet. This is my second pregnancy. So I think you are fine. 😁

My pregnancies have all hardly shown and I only gained 17 lbs with each one. I have a uterus that tilts back a little. I think you’ll be just fine! Hang in there momma!!

Everyone is different, and as long as the babies are healthy you should be fine. 
This is my first pregnancy and I feel I look small as well for carrying twin girls. I've gained about 30lbs so far.

My stomach is ginormous now at 30.5 weeks. But I’ve only gained 10lbs. AS long as babies are growing and healthy you’re okay.

You’re bigger then what I was at 20 weeks and my twins were babies #4/5. People don’t know what they’re saying.
