Being interracial where you live attracts alot of weird stares ?

In ohio my husband and I are forever getting weird stares everywhere we go. When we first got together it bothered me so much but now not so much, does this happen to you ? I'm very curious.

Not only am I interracial but I’m also same sex so we get a TON of stares and I tower over my wife 😂 we live in South Carolina, originally from Colorado.

We live in Cleveland, OH and there are soo many interracial couples here. I adore seeing the diversity and sometimes look because I’m happy for them. My fiancé and I are different ethnically, not racially, but we love seeing couples that are just different from each other in any way

My husband and i are Muslims and I cover my face so i am just going to get the never ending stares😁 so I feel ya girl. Just ignore it thats all we can do. It is all out of curiosity and ignorance.

I forget we're different races most of the time, so when I get weird stares in public I just think maybe I have food on my face or something lol It doesn't  even cross my mind that it's because me and my husband are different races.

Not where we live currently but when we were in Alabama people gawked at us or gave us dirty looks. It was crazy to me and I felt soo unsafe and uncomfortable I didn’t leave my husbands side when we were out and about.

Not here (France, multiple cities) there are a lot of young people in the cities and interracial relationships. If anything, people will say we’re a cute couple actually

Yes my husband and I are ethnically different, also in ohio. Lots of states but I just dont care. We focus on ourselves or whatever our purpose is for going out that day. People have asked if we are together and we just always say we are husband and wife. I'm not sure why people feel the need to ask if we are together. That one does bother me sometimes.

When we lived in California I don’t think anyone cared. But we recently moved to Utah and there’s been a couple of times that I felt people treat us differently. Mostly me since he can almost pass as white.

When I was with my first boyfriend many years ago (20+), I'm a pasty white girl and he was black, and we got stares and actually had some rednecks throw a beer bottle at us from the street and call me a n lover. I've been with black men since my divorce 4 years ago, and now no one gives us another look, except for this one black chick that lived in my old apartment building. She used to give me the nastiest looks whenever I was hanging out with any of my dates or even my black friends

I live in northern Virginia so I get to see all kinds of mixed couples and love it. Although, sometimes we do get looks but they're always in passing and we try our best to not feed into them. They're opinons don't matter in our lives.
