Slient Miscarriage??

Hello everyone. I'm so in the dark right now. I went to the doctor last weekend for an ultrasound and they said the baby stopped growing and no heartbeat.  The baby stopped growing at 8 1/2 weeks. I still have had no sign of a miscarriage.  I should be around 11 weeks now.  Has anyone experienced this long of a wait to miscarry? Please any advice...

I have. My first miscarriage was a missed miscarriage. I was supposed to be around 10-11 weeks but the baby had stopped growing around 6-7 weeks.  I waited another 2-3 weeks and nothing was progressing so I had to have a d&c.

I just recently had a missed miscarriage which I believe is also called a silent miscarriage. I would have been 12w when I had my D&C this past Monday 24th.
Went it for my second scan at 11w4d. Baby stoped growing at 8w4d. And uterus stoped growing at 10w4d. Because the uterus kept growing my body thought everything was fine. That’s why i had no symptoms of miscarriage. 
I think the hardest part is not just the miscarriage alone, but the fact that I was carrying around a dead baby for almost 4 weeks!? And that my body couldn’t do what it naturally was supposed to 1. Carry a healthy baby 2. Get rid of unhealthy baby. 
No signs of it happening on its own, hence having a d&c

With my first my baby stopped growing at 9 weeks but I didn't start to bleed until almost 12 weeks. I had to have a pill inserted to help things along quicker.

So sorry for your loss. We had a silent miscarriage at 6 weeks. We went back at 8 weeks for a scan and fetal pole had disappeared. I'm guessing my body absorbed it. It took me a while to bleed after. If it's delayed i would suggest seeing your doctor

I lost our baby in March. Missed miscarriage. I needed to take pills to pass the baby.

I had one. The baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I was 8 weeks when I got the blood test results. It was almost like my body needed to hear the results. I started to miscarry about 30 minutes later...you will get through this! Praying for you!

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks (baby was only measuring 6 weeks). I wanted to miscarry naturally. But by 16 weeks, I still hadn’t miscarried. So I got a D&C so I could move on mentally.

I had a mmc. I should have been 9 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6. Since my body had no signs of passing I went ahead and took misoprostol:( I'm sorry

I myself have not experienced this but have heard that sometimes can take weeks and sometimes needs medical help. You may want to talk to your dr to see how long you should wait before medical intervention like a d&c
