Is 20 and 21 too young for marriage?

You grow a lot in your twenties and personally, I’d wait. I got married at 25 and I think it’s too young lol but do what you feel is right for you and whoever you’re marrying.

If you’ve lived together, slept together, paid bills together...basically adulted together for at LEAST a few months then 20/21 is fine.
Personally I never would have because I wouldn’t want to make a legal decision like that so young, but to each their own. We’re 24 and 34 and are common law, it’s basically all same rights as marriage in Canada.

I don’t think it’s too young, but I’m 19 right now and wouldn’t want to be getting married any time soon. I’d probably just wanna stay together until like 23/24/25 until making it final just to make sure😂

I met my husband at 18 and we were living together 6 months later ans we were engaged at 22. We are now 26 and married with a beautiful 4 month old and honestly it was perfect for us. A lot of our friends are waiting but every person and relationship is different. I recommend living together for at least a year before hand because that is the best way to know if you can handle it.

I got with my now husband at 18 and couldn't imagine marriage that soon. We didn't move In till I was 22 and married at 27. Yes it took a while but there wasn't a reason. I'm personally glad we waited but everyone is different.

Generally speaking no. It really just varies couple to couple though. I’ve found that from 18 to about 25 is crazy. Everyone’s at such different points in their life and with their maturity. I’m only 24 myself so that top age could definitely be higher, I’m just not there yet 😂 I was only 21 when my husband and I got married, but we’d also been together for 6 years and have known each other forever so it was a safe bet lol.

Nope, not too young! My parents were 18/20 and my brother and sister in law were 20/21.
