What else could be stopping my period?

Question

I am late on my period now (one app says 5 days late, one app says 8 days late). I have never been this late on my period before - I’ve taken two pregnancy tests (a cheap one and clear blue one) and both say negative :( 
I don’t know what else could be making my period so late as I’m usually quite regular! 
So confused and I hate it 💔💔

I ovulated late one cycle and period was super late like 2 weeks late.. 
First time ever being late.
And nope I was not pregnant it was just that I ovulated late and it delayed my period..
I hope this is not your case though!

You could have ovulated later this cycle, I ovulated a whole week than expected so it will push my period due date back by 6 days

When i bought test over the counter mine always came back negative. I went to the hospital for an emergency and did one there and that’s when i found out i was.
