Iron infusions?

Anyone else have your hemoglobins and iron come back low? I’m anemic as of my glucose test last week and now need to get iron infusions 😬

I had them. I didn’t have any problems or side effects with it. I was just bored sitting there for 90 mins

I had my 3rd infusion yesterday, next week is my last. I hate needles and ivs, I find it hurts when they put it in my hand. But once it’s in, it’s really just boring sitting there for an hour and a half lol. No bad side effects for me or anything except a bruise on my hand.

I am , I started the pill first to see if that helps if it doesn’t help in the next 2 weeks I will be doing infusions .. don’t know nothing about this as I’ve always had high iron.

I got it in my 6th month of pregnancy. Getting an infusion is easy but later on for few days it gave me worse headache ever and also made my stomach upset. I have to get another infusion this month as well. Talk to your doc about its aftereffects definitely.
