I got married last weekend! And I am very happy. However, my mother in law made a comment and it made feel bad.

She had some guests (who I didn’t know, but really liked) and after the wedding my MIL told me and my now husband that her guest asked her if I was pregnant.

I am heavier than I used to be, and I did lose some lb before the wedding. But I can’t shake the feeling that she said that just to hurt me.

I just laughed and told her “did you tell them that I am just fat?” She then told me “oh they didn’t say it in a mean way” but come on, who says that. Even if they asked her, why would SHE tell me?

Arrrgggf anyway I am trying to learn to ignore her because she is just rude but like to hide it.
