membrane Sweep/stretch ?

So my doctor said at my 38 week appointment Monday she's gonna stretch me I've never had that done is that like membrane sweep or different ? Do you ladies think the membrane stretch works ?

It is pretty painful. They did it to me in the hospital with my first baby 3 years ago.

Didn’t work for me, but it works for some. It was suuuuuper painful for me both times.

It did for me but I can tell you it hurted so bad I couldn't hardly breathe while my OB was doing it.
