To all my friends without kids:

My family is #1.

Being a mom is my main priority.

I would absolutely love to drink a margarita every Friday. But that’s not the reality.

I would absolutely love to last minute go shopping, or go to the beach, or go on a drive. But that’s not the reality.

I would absolutely love to sleep in. But that’s not the reality.

I’d love to go away for the weekend. But that’s not the reality.

That doesn’t mean stop asking, just be more understanding. I apologize my house isn’t as cool as a bar but sometimes that’s all I can manage. Give and take, boo.

I’d rather be a bad friend than a bad mom.
