For STM and beyond - Do you always get hemorrhoids from pushing out baby?

I know it’s common but I’m curious how common?

I have never gotten hemorrhoids from pushing a baby out!

I got them with my last birth. And 2nd time around I have them just from doing a number 2. So I’m certain I’ll get them again. This time tho I’ll be prepared with the numbing cream straight after birth. It was a life saver lasting

I didn't get hemorrhoids with my first pregnancy/birth (I had 1st degree tears from pushing but no hemorrhoids). So far I haven't had any with this pregnancy,  but there are still 10w to go and I've had a lot more bowel issues this time around so who knows

I had them all through the last part of my first pregnancy, but not during/after pushing 🤷‍♀️

I had them in my 9th month, I used preparation H wipes and they went away, they didn’t come back from pushing ☺️

I did not have any issues with the first time around (during pregnancy or after birth). Now this second pregnancy I've already gotten them a few times 🤷 I think it's more due to hormonal changes and every pregnancy is different!
